* A Briefly Introduction About Cikgu Najla *

Name - Siti Najla Binti Rodzuan, Siti (See-tee/city) or Najla (Naje-laa) from Kuala Lumpur who loves baking, cooking, crafting and sewing. She is a kids and an animal lover but she's a Katsaridaphobia because deathly afraid of COCKROACHES! She loves to watch: National Geographic and nature + animal documentaries. Also love to record scenery, nature, animal habitats, traditional & cultural village life using favourite DSLR camera – the Nikon D90. Had an experienced being a photographer, videographer and photovideo editor. She was influenced and became interested through her father (has had his own photography & videography business for over 25 years). She really want to co-operate/work in some way with: National Geographic, Natgeo Wild, Animal Planet BBC Earth or the Discovery Channel.

What does mean of "Cikgu"? Cikgu means TEACHER and her "students" simply call her Cikgu. She started teaching in early 2011 via online then face to face with the foreigner that staying in Malaysia. She offering BM language lessons via the internet. It's can teach a learner via Facebook, Youtube and Skype. She has developed her own Malay lessons and taught more than 35th non-Malay speaking students. This official website for potential Malay students to learn the Beginner Course in daily conversation for working or studying in Malaysia also worldwide too. A LITTLE ABOUT THE CULTURE :-
~ Malaysia is made of 3 an official nationalities : Malays 60.3%, Chinese 22.9%, and the Indians 6.8% of the total population. Major religion in Malaysia is Islam and Malaysian Malay are Muslim : Islam 61.3% , Buddhism 19.8% , 9.2% Christianity , Hinduism 6.3% , Confucianism 1.3% .

* Malaysian Malay use the patronymic (father’s name) as the last name. Bin (son of) is used for Malay Muslim males, for example Rodzuan Bin Zaharudin. Binti (daughter of) is used for Malay Muslim females, for example Siti Najla Binti Rodzuan.

* Malaysian Hindu males use “A/L” - Anak Lelaki (son of) for example, Gopal A/L Krishnan and for Hindu females, "A/P" - Anak Perempuan (daughter of) for example, Dayaja A/P Vellu. The full names of Malay and Indian are written like this on Malaysia birth certificate and identity cards.
